Health Care Directives and Living Wills

Health care directives are documents that give directions for your health care in the event that you’re physically or mentally incapable of making decisions on your own. This health-care agent can make decisions that include nutrition and life-prolonging measures. These specific measures are included in documents called living wills. The Eldercare Locator can be used to provide your state’s advance directive form.
