Retirement Communities

A retirement community, or active-adult community, is a broad term for housing designed for seniors and retirees. Many are restricted to those over a certain age. Retirement communities vary greatly in the level and type of care provided. Some are fully independent, offering simply a community and network for retirees and seniors who want to stay active. Other communities may provide services and care similar to an assisted living facility.
