Area Agencies on Aging

Area Agencies on Aging are a national network of nonprofit agencies created by Congress to provide adults older than 60 years old with information about programs, services and housing options. Created in 1974 by the Older Americans Act, AAAs strive to create home and community-based services to maintain the independence of older adults. AAAs work with service providers, such as senior centers and home health agencies, to help older adults find and secure the services they need.
